Mrs Bluetit

GUILTY AS SIN

"It wasn't me! It was him! No, her! It was all of them! You've got nothing on me. No evidence! No weapon! No blood!! So it can't possibly have been me! What do you mean my clothes are red? So what! Why do you want to see my bare feet? No I will not take off my stilettos! Look! What's that behind you? (I'm out of here!)"

Mrs Bluetit had indeed been having an affair with the Count and had arranged a secret liaison in the kitchen - she was the only one who knew he was at the Manor. The Count however broke off their affair leaving Mrs Bluetit devastated. In a fit of passion Mrs Bluetit used one her stiletto shoes to attack the count, spraying the walls, floor and ceiling with blood as she stabbed him repeatedly.

Realising what she had done Mrs Bluetit set about hiding her evil deed, washing her face and hands in the soapy water of the sink, before donning her stilettos as she left the room. With her red dress, feather boa and shoes all disguising the blood stains the elegant lady of the manor was free to enter the great hall confident that she would not be found out. In fact it was only the bare footprint that caused suspicion, and by a process of elimination she was the only one who could have hidden all that blood about her person.
